When three friends were going through break ups and breakdowns, Citizen Hands was used as an excuse to drink, smoke and blow off as much steam as possible. To cover up their high levels of intoxication they would play as loud and dirty as possible, and if a song wasn't written within 30 minutes it was forever scrapped. Influenced by the music of their teenaged years like Nirvana and Sonic Youth, the band embraces melodic textures of feedback, noise and distortion to shape a groggy sonic landscape.
Citizen Hands is Ryan Flowers, Rob Tornroos, and Andrew Lee.
Debut EP "D+D+S+F" out 2016 on Heavy Lark.
